ESMA should be lifted by Sankranthi..CPM leader BV Raghavu wants to solve the problems of Anganwadis. He said that the Anganwadi strike has become a people’s movement. Raghavu said that if the movement is to be suppressed, it will not be tolerated.
The government launched ESMA saying that pregnant women, infants and small children are suffering due to the Anganwadi strike. It remains to be seen how the government will respond to the Anganwadi workers continuing their strike even after the ESMA experiment and not attending the duties.
