The Congress party is taking fast steps towards implementing the six guarantees given before the elections. It is clear that the idea is to bring as many schemes as possible to the people before the Lok Sabha elections. As a part of this, the Arogyasree insurance limit has already been increased and free bus travel facility has been provided to women in RTC buses.
And on the rest of the six guarantee schemes, Mahalakshmi, Rythu Bharosa, Grihajyoti, Indiramma Illu and Handicraft schemes are ready to be provided to the people. Currently, the government is providing pensions as per the old system and will soon provide an increased pension. As a part of this, applications were received from the eligible people in the name of public administration program. The authorities received applications from 28th December to 6th of this month.
The program received a huge response. The public administration program went on smoothly as applications were received in each ward like villages and towns. After the completion of the application process, CM Revanth Reddy focused on the next action on these. As part of this, a review meeting will be held today (Monday) at 11 am in the Secretariat with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers, CS Shantikumari, Secretaries of all Departments, Nodal Officers specially appointed for joint districts, Director General of CGG, Commissioner of GHMC and other high officials. In this meeting, the CM will launch a website specially designed on public governance, prajapalana.telangana.gov.in.
The CS has issued orders to all the district collectors to complete the data entry related to the applications received in public administration by the 17th of this month. A total of 1,25,84,383 applications were received in ten days. Of these, 1,05,91,636 applications were received in respect of five guarantees, while 19,92,747 were received in respect of other requests. Most of these are Rs. 2500 financial assistance, Indiramma houses and ration cards have received the most applications.
