The recent Balanagar road accident once again shows the seriousness of the problem.

The authorities who have been insisting on building a flyover at Balanagar for many years are not paying attention.
Immediate measures taken by police to prevent accidents:
With the recent accident, the police have taken preventive measures. Barricades and staffers are being set up for speed control at danger spots on the highway. But the locals are demanding to construct the flyovers which have been there for many years for a permanent solution even if it is a temporary relief. The police have made it clear that no processions should be held at intersections and intersections on the national highway. Those coming to Santa said that Balanagar road accident occurred while they were crossing the road. DSC Mahesh said that they will ask the local MLA and MP to take steps for the construction of flyovers at junctions like Balanagar and Rajapur.
