From Thursday, the number of people going to the villages from Hyderabad is gradually increasing. In this background, the traffic has increased in some places in the city. Keeping this in mind, RTC officials made a key announcement.
RTC MD Sajjanar revealed the important thing to those going to Sontul from Uppal Cross Road for Sankranthi. He said this on Twitter. Sajjanar tweeted.. ‘Telangana RTC has changed the stopping places of buses going towards Bhuvanagiri-Yadagirigutta, Mothkur/Thorrur from Uppal Cross Road. While the buses going towards Hanmakonda are stopping at the usual place, the organization has shifted Yadagirigutta and Thorur bus stops near Little Flower School,’ he tweeted.

Sajjanar said that each bus stop has been set up with a gap of 300 meters and said that this decision was taken in view of the crowd of women in the context of the Mahalakshmi scheme. Therefore, all the regular and special buses will depart from these bus stops near Uppal Cross Road this Sankranti. All passengers are requested to keep this in mind and reach their destinations safely.

In the meantime, the RTC has arranged security measures so that those going to their homes do not face any inconvenience. As a part of this, pandals, shamianas, chairs, public address system, drinking water and mobile toilets have been provided for the convenience of passengers in the main congested areas of Hyderabad. Sajjanar said that 36 new CCTV cameras have been installed at major traffic generating points such as Uppal, LB Nagar and Arangar.

He said that all these CCTV cameras have been connected to the command control center in Bus Bhavan. He said that the high officials are checking the traffic of passengers from time to time through these CCTV cameras. He tweeted that special buses will be made available to the passengers according to the rush.
