Madhapur, January 7: Madapur in-charge DCP Srinivas held a press meet and disclosed the details of the accused in the case of Surender kidnapping which created a sensation in Rayadurgam, Hyderabad. DCP Srinivas said.. ‘Information was received through Dial Hundred that a person named Surender was kidnapped at Khajaguda on the 4th. We solved the kidnapping case in 48 hours. When we got information about the kidnapping at half past one, we immediately reached the scene. The investigation revealed that the people who came with the victim’s cousin Nikita had kidnapped them. We questioned Nikita with this. According to the information given by her, we formed Aru teams. Nikita, Venkatakrishna and Suresh played key roles in this kidnapping case, he said.
‘First they kidnapped Surender and demanded 2 crore rupees. Surender said that he was going as a volunteer even though he was kidnapped knowing that the police were chasing him. He said that there is no need for investigation as he is coming as a volunteer. While Pawan was going on Kal Road, the car in which he was being kidnapped stopped. Later, Surender’s family members told Venkatakrishna about his kidnapping. While Surender was being kidnapped and taken away, their car was stopped by the forest officials at Kartal. The kidnappers fled on seeing the forest officials. “The forest officials immediately rescued Surender,” he said.
But the kidnappers demanded that they first demanded two crores and then gave them 20 lakhs. There are 21 cases against Suresh who was involved in this kidnapping. Nikita and Venkatakrishna are working in the same place. They both wanted to get married. They wanted to spend lavishly with the money they got from the kidnapping. The gang is also accused in a kidnapping case in Gachibowli. There is another kidnapping case along with NDPS case against Venkata Krishna in Gdimetla CS. Threatening people they know, demanding a lot and punishing them is what they do. DCP Srinivas revealed that we will open a gang file against the accused.
