The Indian women’s cricket team suffered a huge setback. Team India’s star player Sneha Rana was seriously injured in the second ODI match against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The doctors who examined her immediately took her out of the ground. Harleen Deol was fielded as a concussion player in place of Sneha. It seems that Rana was taken to the hospital for scanning. BCCI has tweeted to this effect. While fielding, Rana was injured and left the field. But after some time she returned to the field and also bowled. But because of the headache, she came out of the ground again. BCCI said that Harleen has entered the field in place of Sneha Rana. Shreyanka Patil came to bowl in the 25th over of Australia’s innings. Beth Mooney at the crease played the ball in the air.. Both Pooja Vastrakar and Sneha Rana ran to catch it. Both collided with each other due to lack of coordination. Sneha Rana was seriously injured in this incident. Physio Sneha Rana, who came to the field immediately, was taken out. But in the 33rd over, Rana came into the field again. She bowled her quota of 10 overs and scored 59 runs and took one wicket. But it seems that Sneharana was taken to the hospital after getting a severe headache.

Batting first in this match, the Australian team scored 258 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Phoebe Litchfield played a valuable innings of 63 runs. Along with her, Alyssa Perry scored 50 off 47 balls. But the lower order played a vital role in taking the team’s score past 250. Annabel Sutherland 23, Georgia Wareham 22, Elana King 28 not out. Deepti Sharma took five wickets for India. Pooja Vastrakar, Patil and Rana all got wickets.
