APPSC JL Notification: APPSC has released a notification for filling up the posts of Lecturers (JL) in Government Junior Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Through this, 47 posts will be filled. Applications for these posts will be accepted from January 31 to February 20. It said in a statement on Thursday that the complete details have been made available on the website. Candidates with PG degree or Honors degree qualification in the relevant subject are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates will receive applications from January 31 to February 20. Selection will be based on written test and computer proficiency. The complete notification regarding educational qualifications, age limit and application fee related details will be made available before January 31.

Eligibility: MA/ MSc/ MCom/ BA(Hons)/ BSc(Hons)/ BCom(Hons) or any other equivalent PG degree in relevant field. Civics subjects should be PG degree in Political Science.
Age Limit: Should be between 18-42 years. Relaxation in age limit is applicable as per rules. 5 years for SC, ST, BC, EWS candidates; 10 years for the disabled; Age relaxation is applicable up to 3 years for Ex-Servicemen/NCC candidates, 5 years for State Government employees and 3 years for Temporary employees.
Application Procedure: through online.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on written test and computer proficiency.
Written Exam Procedure: A written exam will be conducted for a total of 450 marks. There will be total two papers (Paper-1, Paper-2) in the written exam. It consists of Paper-1: General Studies & Mental Ability (Degree Level) – 150 Questions – 150 Marks – 150 Minutes; Paper-2 Candidate Subject (PG Level) – 150 Questions – 300 Marks – Duration 150 Minutes. In paper-1, one mark is given for each question. In paper-2, two marks are allotted for each question. 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Computer Proficiency Test: Computer Proficiency Test will be conducted for total 100 marks. Questions related to office automation, computer usage, computer software will be asked. Exam time is 60 minutes. The minimum qualifying marks have been fixed as 40 for OCs, 35 for BCs and 30 for SC-ST-PWDs.
