Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has stepped up his aggression as the time for the general elections is approaching. Pawan Kalyan has already come to an estimate regarding the seats they will contest in the TDP-Jana Sena alliance. Pawan Kalyan, who has been staying at the Mangalagiri central office for a week, had a special meeting with the in-charges of the constituencies and the main party leaders. He inquired about the condition of the party in the respective constituencies and the social, economic and political status of the candidates within the respective constituencies. In these meetings, Pawan had a special meeting with the in-charges of the constituencies he had selected. Sources of the Janasena party said that Pawan has reviewed the constituencies within the range of seats to be contested as part of the alliance with the TDP. Pawan is discussing many issues with the main leaders of the party, although he has not given any clarity on how many seats he will contest as part of the alliance with the TDP. As part of the joint fight for all 175 constituencies in AP, Pawan is working to field candidates on behalf of Jana Sena in 25 to 40 seats. Pawan Kalyan has held discussions with the in-charges of 16 constituencies so far. Party leaders say that Pawan, who is thinking of fielding candidates in them, met them separately. Pawan Kalyan is already reviewing the situation of the party for the last week as he has come to a resolution on the issue of sending seats with Chandrababu.
Tirupati in the joint Chittoor district, Ongolu in the joint Prakasam district, Guntur West in the joint Guntur district, Machilipatnam Avanigadda in the joint Krishna district of Tenali, Kothapet, Amalapuram, Rajolu, Rajanagaram, Kakinada Rural, Mummadivaram, joint Visakhapatnam in the joint East Godavari district are expected to contest. Pawan Kalyan has come to an estimate to field candidates on behalf of the party in Bhimili, Elamanchili, Pendurthi and Nellimarla constituencies in the combined Vizianagaram district. However, Pawan inquired about the strength of TDP, the condition of Janasena party and the weaknesses of YCP in these constituencies. Pawan Kalyan is thinking that the TDP vote bank will come together in terms of wins and losses. Pawan, who has been trying to field candidates for these positions, will soon make an official announcement. However, Pawan suggested that some of the leaders belonging to this constituency, which has been reviewed at present, should open party offices in the respective constituencies and do ground work for the elections at the field level. He ordered to work with TDP leaders.
After two or three days, Pawan will review the remaining seats to be contested in the elections. Clarity will be given on some other constituencies within the already announced districts along with the joint Krishna, West Godavari, Srikakulam Nellore, Kurnool, Kadapa, Anantapur. Pawan Kalyan is already hoping to field candidates in Kadapa and Railway Kodur constituencies. However, the candidates who have won in the past on behalf of TDP are insisting that the leaders who are currently hoping for the seat should give them an opportunity to contest in the respective constituencies. In this background Pawan Kalyan will give clear cut direction to the candidates of the respective constituencies after talking to Chandrababu Babu. Based on the current political developments and social equations in AP, Pawan is taking steps in the selection of candidates differently than in the past.
After the review of 16 constituencies has already been completed, Pawan will review another 20 seats in two days. Jana Sena sources say that it may take some time to get clarity regarding the remaining constituencies.
