YSRCP chief Jagan has stepped up his preparations for the 2024 assembly polls. They have already focused fully on the change of candidates and in-charges. Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy, who changed 11 in-charges in the first phase, is preparing to announce the list of the second phase in the same manner. However, it is known that information has already been given to the respective candidates from the leadership regarding who is not getting a seat in the second phase. The YCP boss said that the changes in MLAs and constituency coordinators were completely based on surveys.
CM Jagan conducted a survey on the positive and negative aspects of the candidates among the people, their relationship with the local leaders of the party, allegations of corruption, whether they have the ability to defeat the opponent or not.. On the basis of these surveys, the decision is taken on the selection of candidates. It is already known that district wise survey reports have been prepared. In addition to the 11 people who have changed in the first list, it seems that there may be a change in the sittings and in-charges of another forty people. With this, YCP MLAs are busy calculating whether they will have seats or not. How is their report? Many leaders are worried about getting any phone call from the top. However, it is known that the YCP leadership has given clarity that many MLAs will not have seats in the combined Krishna district.
Phones from head office to candidates
There are total 16 assembly constituencies in the joint Krishna district. Among these, Kaikaluru and Nujiveedu constituencies are in Eluru district. It is known that phone calls have been made to many sittings in all 14 seats in Krishna and NTR district. It is discussed that the district minister is also among them. It is reported that the headship has also given clarification to Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, who is a Pedana MLA, that he is changing his position. It is learned that Jogi Ramesh has been suggested to contest as a parliamentary candidate from Vijayawada instead of from Pedana. Minister Jogi Ramesh is already expecting two assembly seats from the district. Along with him, his son Rajeev is also hoping for a seat. Along with the sitting position, he also wants to give the Mylavaram constituency to his family. Apart from these two, it is reported that the senior leaders have suggested that the Vijayawada MP should enter the ring.
It is also known that Thiruvuru MLA also has no seat this time. It seems that he won’t get a seat this time due to the local opposition to the defense fund, which has won as an MLA twice in a row, and there is also opposition among the leaders. CM Jagan is planning to give a chance to BC candidate to replace Avanigadda MLA Simhadri Ramesh Babu. Here, with the TDP-Janasena alliance, it seems that Simhadri Ramesh is not so favorable with the intention of winning if the seat is given to the BC social class instead of the Kapu social class. It is reported that Jagan will take the final decision in the matter of another SC reserved constituency. On the other hand, they are planning to shift the sitting MLAs for two important constituencies. Information coming from the party ranks that the YCP leadership is focusing on winning more seats this time in the joint Krishna district, which TDP considers to be crucial.
