Chetan Sakariya Bowling Action: The IPL 2024 Auction will be held on December 19 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. It has many players who have played for the Indian team. One of these names is left arm fast bowler Chetan Sakariya. However, before the auction, Zakaria faced a major setback as his action was seen as suspicious. BCCI did not ban this Saurashtra bowler from bowling. But, it informed all the franchises before the auction that his name was among the seven suspect bowlers.
Chetan Sakaria played for Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals in IPL. Played 19 matches in his IPL career. Apart from this, he managed to play one ODI and two T20Is for the Indian team during the 2021 tour of Sri Lanka. However, no one knows when the 25-year-old bowler’s action was reported. This matter is not known to his close friends and Saurashtra Cricket Association. Chetan Sakaria is currently sidelined due to injury. However, he was released by Delhi Capitals last month. Sakaria is expected to make a comeback from the Ranji Trophy.
Sakaria has been out of action since the last IPL. Did not play in domestic matches this season including both Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Sakaria kept his base price at Rs 50 lakh in the IPL auction.
