When Thira woke up in the morning, the situation in the village looked like a war on stray dogs. A total of 30 dogs were shot and around 21 dogs died. Others were seriously injured.
Gunfight in the car at midnight:
Villagers say that the incident took place after 2 midnight. The assailants who entered the village in a Swift car opened fire without sparing any dog in sight. The thugs chased each dog and killed them. On the information of the locals, the police reached the village and started investigation. It was concluded that only dogs were targeted and they indulged in this atrocity. Clues team and veterinary doctors examined the dead dogs. Bullets were found in the bodies of the dogs. Police have collected evidence related to the shooting.
Why gunshots at mute creatures?:
The incident of inhumane attack on stray dogs is creating sensation in Mahbubnagar districts. None of the actual shooters? Police are investigating why the dogs were targeted.
