Bebbuli scare has started once again in Palnadu. Last summer too, fear was expressed with tigers coming towards the villages from the Nallamala forest area. The tigers roamed around the Nallama area for a few days and then went into the dense forest. The locals breathed a sigh of relief. A few days ago, the authorities found traces of burning of an unidentified animal in the forest area at Accham Bavi Tanda of Veldhurthi mandal. But the dead animal has not been identified so far, even though the clues have been sent to the forensic lab. Currently, farmers have found tiger footprints in the fields at Atchamma Kunta of Macharla mandal. The farmers who went to the farm got suspicious when they saw big footprints and immediately handed over this information to the forest officials. Officials who rushed to the scene immediately identified the footprints. Their feet measurements were collected. After examining the technical evidence, it was confirmed that it was the footprints of a tiger. People in nearby villages were alerted. However, many doubts are being expressed about the tiger coming into the field at this time.
Earlier, tigers came out of the deep forest for water during summer and attacked a cow near Gajapuram in Durgi mandal. This caused a commotion in the area. There were no signs of tigers ever coming towards the villages even though the Nallamala forests were nearby. However, the arrival of tigers for the first time and the attack on a cow has been detected, and the forest department officials have warned the locals to be alert. But as the rains started, the tigers that came out of the forest area went back into the deep forest. At that time, the forest department officials announced that tigers are coming out due to the increase in the number of tigers in the Nallamala forest area and the problems facing their habitats. Due to this, measures were also taken to prevent tigers from coming out of the Nallamala forest area. Trap cameras were set up to track the tracks of the tigers. But the authorities are surprised that the tigers are coming out at such a time when the water is rich. CC cameras have been installed to track the tigers from time to time. Officials alerted the people of local villages.
