It is known that the YCP leadership is considering the defection of party MLAs and MLCs seriously. The party has initiated action against them under the Prevention of Defection Act. On Monday (January 8), YCP filed a complaint to AP Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram to disqualify four rebel MLAs Undavalli Sridevi, Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy who defected from the party. It also asked the chairman of the council to disqualify MLCs C. Ramachandraiah and Vamsikrishna Yadav. Four MLAs joined Telugu Desam Party. MLC Vamsikrishna Yadav recently joined the Janasena party.
