Telangana government has also announced concessions on pending challans in the past. If there are 2.4 crore pending challans by March 31, 2022.. then challans up to Rs.300 crore rupees have been collected through subsidies. This time, as more than 3.50 crore challans are pending, the concessions have been announced once again. Once again the government is likely to get huge revenue through the collection of challans. If you cannot pay the challans from today, you will have to pay 100% of the challans.
Innovative campaign for challan collections
The police force is carrying out an innovative campaign for the collection of pending challans. New methods are being adopted to collect fines like never before. Huge flexi have been set up for payment of pending challans at main roads and junctions. It is suggested to take advantage of the discount offer. In some areas, the police are campaigning through the mic.
Issuance of challans with the help of technology
The police issue challans for not wearing a helmet, driving a vehicle without a number plate, riding a triple on two-wheelers, driving while talking on a cell phone, and not having a driving license and insurance. In addition to these, fines were imposed for violating rules like driving a vehicle on the wrong route and jumping the traffic signal. All of them have been given the opportunity to pay subsidized dues. With the advent of technology, CCTV cameras have been installed in major cities across the state. The police are identifying those who commit traffic violations and imposing challans. Traffic challans have accumulated heavily due to non-payment of traffic challans by motorists on time. With this, the Telangana government has provided relief to motorists. It announced a huge discount on 28th of last month. Due to this, a large number of motorists are paying the challans with a discount. As the discount announced by the government is going to end on Wednesday, motorists are competing to pay the challans.
