The series of tiger deaths in Telangana is disturbing. The forest department, which is supposed to protect rare wildlife, is keeping silent on the incident. Two tigers died in Gondi in Darigam forest area of Kagaj Nagar corridor of Komurambhim district. Officials say that the tiger attacked the cattle on December 27. S16, the female who ate the meat, died a week later. The death of a male tiger named S9 at the same place has become a hot topic of discussion. The authorities found the carcass of a cattle not far from the place where the tigers died. But the staff of National Tiger Conservation Authority entered the field to examine the area where the carcass of the animal was found. There are no signs of a territorial fight, so many doubts are being expressed about the death of the tigers. As the cattle died in the tiger attack, there are suspicions that it was poisoned. But the forest officials are not talking about the death of two tigers.
NDCA officials during the investigation found that the tigers had severe head injuries. Moreover, as the tiger’s legs were broken, there are suspicions that it was a dominance battle between the cattle and the tiger… or that someone had deliberately beaten it to death. This is due to the fact that no video track of these injuries was recorded on the cameras. An S9 male tiger died after falling into the Komuram Bhim canal, 300 meters away from where the first tiger died. Veterinarians rushed to the spot to conduct a post-mortem on the male tiger. In the same order Kaleswaram Zone CCF Santaram along with Komuram Bhim District DF Neeraj and his team reached the spot and are observing the situation. Central forces are conducting a thorough investigation on this. But the mystery remains whether these tigers died naturally or were attacked by someone.
