GMR School of Aviation will start classes from this academic year. Preparations are being made to open this school in the coming June on a 3 acre land. Only those who have completed Inter MPC with 50% marks are eligible to get admissions in these courses. GMR Aviation School will be ready to train 200 students per year and provide full placement opportunity. Officials said that the four-year course consists of two years of theory and two years of practicals. After that, the placement will also be given. It is said that in the courses offered here, we provide both Indian and foreign training. B1, B2A Craft Maintenance Engineering License Program will provide practical training in collaboration with Airbus. In addition to this, the School of Aviation aims to set a benchmark in aircraft maintenance engineering training in the country by offering aircraft specific type training courses, domestic and international degree programs, aircraft structures, and ancillary courses such as aircraft.
It is said that the students who are trained in this training will be given certificates from European Union Elevation Safety Agency (EASA) and similarly from DGCA. Officials said that EASA certificate holders can perform duties in aircraft maintenance abroad while DGCA certificate holders can get placement anywhere in the country. In the coming days, India is on its way to become the world leader in the field of aviation. Academy administrators say the academy will pave the way for future generations to focus on this field.
