The DPO said that these types of tiger deaths are seen in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district. For the first time, one tiger was attacked and killed by another tiger in the Kagaznagar corridor. Experts say that with the increase in the number of tigers in Kagaj Nagar forest area, there is no danger of more attacks for dominance.
A total of 7 tigers have died in the forests of Chandrapur district of bordering Maharashtra in the past one month.. All of them were killed in the attacks that took place as part of the tribal war, say the forest officials there. Last year on November 14, a tiger died in a fight between two tigers in Chimuru forest area of Chandrapur district… On November 18, a tiger died in Tadoba. A tiger died due to electric shock. The death of more than ten tigers within a period of one and a half months within a 60 km forest area on the border of Chandrapur districts of Komurambhim district is disturbing.
