Minister Botsa said that only one demand is pending
Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the Anganwadis made 11 demands and 10 have already been resolved. The remaining demand will be resolved soon. But they want a deadline of three months. YCP Neggi expressed confidence that they will come back to power in the upcoming assembly elections. Minister Botsa said that after coming to power, the problems of Anganwadis will be solved completely. However, he opined that it is possible to increase the salaries of employees only once in five years, and it is not possible to increase the salaries for 2 or 3 years. The YCP government is always ready to resolve the demands of Anganwadis and municipal workers, but it needs some time.

The government claims that Anganwadis come under Section 39 of the National Food Security Act, 2013. That is why ESMA has been applied to Anganwadis. This ESMA was introduced in 1981. According to this act, the government has the power to take action in case of strikes in violation of government orders. Anganwadis can be dismissed. If desired, legal action can be taken against them depending on the situation and cases can be registered. In these cases, there is a possibility of imprisonment for six months for those who went on strike and one year for those who cooperated.
