A student committed suicide after becoming addicted to Pubg game. This incident which took place in Panjagutta police station in Hyderabad came to light late. Going into the details… Akhil (21) from Ellareddiguda is studying for his degree. Without going to college for three months, he got addicted to Pubg game. After his father died in 2018, Akhil was living in Ellareddyguda with his mother. On Wednesday night, when no one was at home, he hanged himself and committed a violent death. When his mother Jaya came out, the door was locked from inside. When the door was broken with the help of the watchman, the son was found hanging inside. Doctors said that he was immediately taken to Nims Hospital where he was already dead. I got a WhatsApp message from my son Akhil saying ‘Bye mommy love you be careful’. Immediately I called my son but he did not pick up the phone call. When I went home, the main door was locked from inside. But watchman Upendra opened the main door with the help of others. Akhil is hanging from the ceiling fan in the bedroom.’
‘Immediately we dropped our son down and took him to Nimes hospital in an auto. But the doctors confirmed that my son was already dead. ‘My son is addicted to PUB-G game. He has not been going to college since 3 months,’ said Akhil’s mother. The Panjagutta police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
