In AP, TDP is in alliance with Jana Sena, YCP is contesting alone. So far everyone has clarity. While the Left parties are in India alliance at the national level, it remains to be seen what decision will be taken in AP. And BJP. BJP is currently a single party. It is not believed to be in alliance with the Jana Sena, nor can it be said that the two parties are hostile factions. Telangana BJP president Kishan Reddy has already made it clear that there will be no alliance with the Janasena in the Lok Sabha elections even though the BJP-Janasena alliance contested together in Telangana. At this stage BJP state president Purandareshwari also made key comments on the AP alliance. What did she say about the alliance?
Purandareshwari’s key comments on alliances in AP
After participating in the joint meeting of state fronts held today, Purandareswari made key comments on alliances in AP. Did you say that even though Jana Sena is in alliance with TDP in AP, their alliance with that party is still continuing. Purandareshwari said that her party’s alliance with Janasena is continuing. He said that the views of the party leaders are also being taken on this issue. He said that he is going to give a report to the national leadership on the issue of alliances in AP. He said that the BJP leadership is likely to take a decision on alliances a month before the elections. Purandareshwari clarified that for now we are in alliance with Janasena. But Purandareshwari said that the High Command has the final decision in the matter of alliances in the general elections.
Recently, Janasena PAC Chairman Nadendla Manohar had a special meeting with BJP State President Purandareshwari. It seems that there was a discussion between them on the issue of alliances. Both TDP and Jana Sena are making plans to finalize the candidates. At this stage, if the case of BJP is resolved, everyone will get clarity about the candidates. That is why it seems that Janasena and TDP are trying to run the embassy.
TDP dilemma..?
The TDP-Janasena alliance in AP is solid for now. In the case of BJP, that party is in a dilemma. Chandrababu’s fear is that if he joins with the BJP, there is a risk of fraud in the first place. Even if the BJP came to power at the centre, the party did not get a lot of votes in AP. TDP will have to make sacrifices in terms of more seats. That is why TDP is not in a hurry. On the other hand, with Sharmila’s entry, there are chances of Congress also getting a boost in AP. It is not possible to say that the party will win now, but the Congress is seen as an alternative to the discontent of the TDP and YCP.
BJP is waiting..
In terms of alliances, BJP is in a wait-and-see attitude. They are thinking that they want TDP leaders to come to them. At the same time, they want to continue their friendship with Janasena. Nowhere in Purandareshwari’s comments is there any opposition to TDP, at the same time she clarified that all matters of alliances are in the hands of the leadership. It remains to be seen which side the BJP will be on by the time of the elections. If you compete alone, the fight in AP will be more interesting.
