Rangampet is the name given to Jallikattu, which is an adventure sport in rural culture, and Jallikattu is held in some village for a month. On the one hand, the police force is not taking the jallikattu without permission seriously, on the other hand, the owners who are preparing the bulls for the jallikattu have been paying special attention to their nutrition for the last three months. Along with the dietary rules, they are very careful about their health conditions. Some are spending thousands of rupees trying to gain fame by keeping bulls in jallikattu competitions instead of farming. The owners who are training the bulls to raise their legs are putting prize money for the bulls that are caught in the jallikattu. The owners are running the cattle holding plates with the flags of political parties, leaders and favorite heroes.
Jallikattu competitions are held on a large scale in about 16 villages in Chandragiri mandal and those who decorate and keep their bulls in those competitions are preparing for jallikattu with enthusiasm. Vasu Reddy, a young man from C.Mallavaram, Chandragiri Mandal prepared the bull for Jallikattu in the name of Andhra Cheetah. From 3 months before Jallikattu, he is taking special diet and feeding for the bulls along with medical care.
He is keeping a watchful eye on the bull that participates in jallikattu. Jallikattu managers pay as much attention to the management of bulls as they do to the rearing of chickens that are prepared for chicken races in the coast.
