Team India legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are likely to return to T20 cricket through this series which will start from January 11. These two players have not played any T20 matches for India after 2022.
Now these two players are likely to be seen again in short cricket for the T20 World Cup. According to this, it seems that Rohit Sharma will lead Team India in the series against Afghanistan.
Also, Hardik Pandya, who has been the captain of the T20 team for the last one year, is likely to miss this series due to fitness issues. Suryakumar Yadav, who was injured in the T20 series against South Africa, is not available for the series against Afghanistan.
