Thieves usually leave without leaving any evidence. There are many hurdles to overcome for that. They wear gloves on their hands, socks on their feet and masks on their faces without finding fingerprints and committing thefts without being recognized. But they not only stole in Nagar Kurnool district but also wrote the reason why they did the theft.
A variety of thieves have created havoc in Nagar Kurnool district. Some unidentified persons stole copper wires from the practical equipment room of the Government Girls Junior College in the district centre. They blew the ceiling fans in different rooms and stole the copper wires in them. Later these fans were burnt. But until stealing… these thieves wrote on the black board in the class room why they stole. They wrote, “We stole the electric wires of this school for our needs… the rest is yours… forgive us.” Along with this, these thieves also gave free advice saying “Enjoy watching Salaar movie”.
Police suspect that the incident may have taken place on the night of December 31. On Tuesday morning, the staff were shocked to see the classroom door lock open. It was realized that the latch at the lock of the door was broken. After opening the doors, the thieves immediately informed the local police about the chaos created. The police registered a case and started investigation. Locals believe that the theft may have been done by miscreants from the district headquarters. It is said that this type of theft is committed due to the lack of supervision at the Government Girls Junior College. The locals are demanding that those responsible for the theft in the girls’ junior college should be identified and strict action should be taken.
