Shortage of Petrol Diesel: The President of Petrol Bunk Dealers Association Amarender Reddy has given clarity on the rumors that there is a shortage of petrol and diesel in the state due to the strike of truck drivers in Telangana. He said that there is no fuel shortage in petrol stations in Telangana. The tanker drivers said they went on strike yesterday (January 1) against the law brought by the central government. Talked to them today and explained that the strike has been called off.
Amarender Reddy, President of Telangana Petrol Bank Dealers Association said, “They have already put up a no stock sign in some petrol stations as they have run out of stock. This caused confusion. All banks will get stock till tonight. People don’t need to worry about who. 40 lakh liters of diesel and petrol are supplied daily from two depots. They advertised on social media that the petrol stations were closing, that’s why people lined up at the petrol stations. In another three hours, diesel petrol will be available at the petrol stations as usual,” he said.
