International Kite Festival in Hyderabad: Hyderabad: The great city of Hyderabad is getting ready for another international festival. The Department of Tourism will make arrangements to organize the International Kite Festival & Sweet Festival for three days from January 13 to 15 at Secunderabad Parade Grounds. On this occasion, Tourism Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao unveiled the International Kite Festival poster at Begumpet Harita Plaza.

Later, Minister Jupalli Krishnarao said… We will organize the festival to reflect the culture and traditions of Telangana. 40 international kite flyers from 16 countries and 60 national kite club members will participate in this festival which will be held for 3 days from January 13. He said that kites made in various designs will be flown. Apart from these, national and international sweets will be made available in the stalls there.
Arrangements for cultural events
Cultural programs will be organized in the International Kite Festival. Along with them, the officials of the tourism department revealed that handicrafts and handloom stalls are being set up. Officials of GHMC, police and other departments are making all the arrangements in coordination so that the visitors who come to watch the show are not inconvenienced, he said. He said that the visitors coming here will have free entry. In this program, Principal Secretary of Youth Services, Tourism and Culture Department Shailaja Ramayar, Director of Tourism Department K. Nikhila, Assistant Director K. Mahesh, Om Prakash and others participated.
