As the elections are approaching, the political equations are changing in AP as well. 2014 alliances are being repeated again in AP. The stage is being prepared for TDP-Janasena-BJP to unite again. Pawan Kalyan is almost convinced that he will try to get BJP to come together with him. An in-principle agreement on alliances has already been reached between the three parties. Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan will soon go to Delhi and hold the final stage of negotiations. TDP leaders are already saying that they have a clear idea of where TDP-Janasena will compete. Candidates are likely to be announced only after seat adjustment with BJP.
Also the BJP state leadership has already conveyed its opinion on alliances to the Delhi elders. In a recent key meeting held in Delhi, majority leaders of the state have put forward their preference in favor of alliances. The party leaders prepared these matters in the form of a report and put them on the table of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP state president Purandheswari clarified that they are in alliance with Janasena and will take the lead in other decisions.
There are many positive factors affecting the alliance. But AP BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy made sensational comments. Vishnuvardhan Reddy said that the BJP will decide who will be in power in AP, and if they want to ally with the BJP, they will ask for 75 Assembly and 12 Parliament seats. He alleged in TV9’s Big Debate that some parties are working hard and trying to lower the level of BJP.
Kamal Nath says that there is an opportunity for the BJP central leadership to make a clear statement on alliances during Sankranthi.
