TSPSC Group 2 Exam Postponed: Group-2 exam in Telangana has been postponed once again. The TSPSC announced on Wednesday (December 27) night that it is postponing the Group-II examination scheduled to be held on January 6 and 7 as per the announced schedule. The Commission clarified that the dates of the postponed examination will be announced later. It is known that 5.51 lakh candidates have applied for a total of 783 Group-II posts across the state. According to the schedule that was initially released, while the Group-2 exam was to be held on August 29 and 30, candidates and leaders of political parties demanded that the Group-2 exam be postponed due to other competitive exams. After that, when arrangements were being made to conduct this exam on November 2 and 3, the exam was postponed once again due to Telangana Assembly elections. TSPSC officials have announced that they are postponing it once again.
It is known that last year TSPSC had issued job advertisement for filling 783 Group-2 posts in Telangana. Applications were received from the candidates from January 18 to February 16. 5.51 lakh candidates have applied for these posts across the state. TSPSC has released the schedule to conduct the examination on August 29 and 30 for Group-2 posts. However, the candidates demanded that the Group-2 exams should be postponed as there was no time to fully prepare for the Group-1, Group-4 exams and Gurukula recruitment exams. With this, the commission took a decision rescheduling the exams on November 2 and 3.
