Congress came to power in Telangana after a long period after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state. With the same enthusiasm, it is trying to increase its strength in AP as well. As part of this, it is trying to make its presence known in the upcoming assembly elections. For this purpose, the future activities have been formulated by the AICC leadership. A coordination meeting of AP Congress was held today under the chairmanship of AICC chief Mallikarjuna Kharge. Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Manikkam Tagore, APPC Chief Gidugu Rudraraj, Raghuveera Reddy and senior leaders participated in this meeting. Some important decisions were taken on this occasion.
On the occasion of the meeting, there was a long discussion on the strategies, alliances, inclusions, party strengthening and Congress guarantees to prepare for the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Also, Rudra Raju presented the activity report of AP Congress to the President. Rudra Raju prepared a 700-page activity report related to the activities done during the year as PCC. Meanwhile, since the new year, the Congress has prepared plans to infuse new enthusiasm in the ranks and workers.
As part of that, it was decided to hold three meetings in Andhra Pradesh after the festival in January. Rudra Raju invited AICC President Kharge along with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra. After Sankranti, a decision was reached on which areas to hold meetings. Kharge in Hindupuram, Rahul Gandhi in Visakhapatnam and Priyanka Gandhi in Amaravati are planning to organize sabhas. It seems that these councils have been formed to cover Amaravati, Uttarandhra and Rayalaseema. Two days ago, the Congress leadership called the members of the AP Congress Coordination Committee to come to Delhi for this meeting.
