Door-to-door campaign on getting YSR Arogyasree services..
CM Jagan has issued orders to grant new cards after expanding the scope of YSR Arogyashri. With this, the authorities have prepared smart cards with QR code. Distribution of Arogyasree cards has started from 19th of this month. Volunteers and secretariat staff are going door to door and distributing the cards. Upgraded with the latest technology, the smartcard has a QR code. Scan this QR code to know the complete details of the patient. The patient’s problems, details of past treatments, medications used, etc. are all covered. Through this, doctors can easily know what kind of treatment a patient needs no matter how many times he visits the hospital. Along with the Arogyashri smart card, the government has also made the Arogyashri app available. At the time of distribution of the new Arogyasree cards, the staff are downloading the Arogyasree app on the mobile phones of the beneficiaries.
This app contains all the details of YSR Arogyasree Hospitals and all the details about which disease is treated in which hospital. How to avail Arogyashree services.? How to get free services? They are moving forward by creating awareness on such matters. So far 1 lakh 50 thousand cards have been distributed. The government has suggested that the cards should be issued more quickly from now on. The government has also initiated programs. Arogyasree campaign programs are being held in five villages of the constituency every day. Every week ANMs, CHWs, ASHA workers and public representatives are distributing smart cards and downloading the Arogyasree app in four villages per mandal. The government aims to complete the distribution of these cards by the end of next month. The government explains to the people that if this card is in hand, it is like having 25 lakh free medical treatment.
