Since the Congress came to power in Telangana, many welfare programs are being implemented. Congress government is already implementing Mahalakshmi and Arogya Sri schemes. However, in the meeting of District Collectors and SPs held on Sunday, the public governance program was discussed. In this context, Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ministers Sridhar Babu and Ponnam Prabhakar conducted a review on the arrangements for the administration of public governance program under GHMC. In this review, he responded to the news about the ration cards. Minister Sridhar Babu revealed that the procedures for issuing new ration cards have not been finalized yet. Speaking on the occasion, the Ministers mentioned that public administration program will be organized in 150 divisions. He said that he has discussed the arrangements with the authorities. Also, the six guarantees given by the Congress will be implemented without fail.
He said that the applications received in the public governance program to be held from 28th of this month will be thoroughly examined. He said that in the past, adding new ones to ration cards and removing old ones did not happen. He said that regulations should be made for the selection of beneficiaries related to the six guarantees mentioned by his government. He clarified that the public administration program is for the collection of data of those who want to benefit. He said that the applications will be accepted and the beneficiaries who are currently getting pension will not need to apply again. He explained that those who want more welfare schemes along with Indiramma house can also apply. He said that the possibilities will be examined, the deserving ones will be identified and Indiramma houses will be granted. Minister Sridhar Babu explained to the media that till now 25 thousand applications have been received in Prajavani.
