Geological Survey of India has confirmed gold deposits in Aspari mandal of Aluru constituency which is the most backward drought area in Kurnool district. The GSI has confirmed the presence of gold deposits in the lands of surrounding villages including Chirumanu Doddi, Atte Uddi, Kallapari and Yatakallu in Aspari Mandal.

Knowing that there are gold deposits in such an area, the locals suddenly raised their hopes for the future. They hope that the future of their children will be golden. An interesting discussion is going on about what the farmers of the area think and expect from the area surveyed by GSI.
Apart from here, GSI said that there are also gold deposits in Chirumanu Doddi village fields, another 20 km from this village. The residents of that area are also hopeful. Farmers claim that they who had no hope for the future got hope when they came to know that they have gold deposits.
Although the information given by GSI about gold deposits in Aspari mandal is gratifying, it has been confirmed that gold diamonds are present in Kurnool district since many years. It has rained in Jonnagiri area of Tuggali Mandal, which means that some people are still finding diamonds. Labourers, farmers and locals are becoming millionaires overnight. In Peravali village of the same mandal, there are diamond traders in the surrounding areas which means the situation is understandable. Gold deposits are abundant in Pagidirai area of the same Tuggali mandal.
Jio Mysore Company has taken up the process of extracting these gold minerals through mining. It has already bought hundreds of acres. Small machines have already been set up to extract gold from underground. Jio Mysore Company has made complete arrangements for gold mining by providing heavy machinery. It also bought 70 percent of the land. Jio Mysore Company has announced that it will carry out full-scale gold mining if minor objections are removed regarding the purchase of 30% of the land.
Recently, the Union Minister made a statement like gold in the Parliament itself. As the Union Minister announced that uranium deposits have been confirmed in the vicinity of Kappatralla village in Kurnool district, there is jubilation in this area as well. A region like Kappatrala, which is a fully faction affected region, has uranium deposits and if they can be exploited, the entire region is likely to be on the path of development.
