BRS party suffered a setback in Manchyryala district. The councilors of that party covered themselves with the Congress scarf. Within three days, 13 councilors joined hands. MLA Prem Sagar Rao invited them all into the party by covering them with scarves. While there are 36 councilors in Manchiryala municipality, currently 24 councilors are supporting the Congress. Then the number of BRS councilors fell to 12. It seems that the councilors are ready to distrust the municipal chairman.
Political circles are discussing that municipal chairman Rajaiah and vice chairman Mukesh Goud will lose their posts if a no-confidence motion is introduced. Now that the Congress party is in power.. jumping into that party has increased. Now there are chances of Congress owning Manchyryala Municipality. But MLA Kokkirala Premsagar Rao says that they are all joining the party for development.
