TSRTC New Zero Tickets: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) MD VC Sajjanar, IPS said that as part of the implementation of ‘Mahalakshmi-free bus travel facility for women’, zero tickets will be issued to women through machines from Friday (December 15). He asked every female passenger to take a zero ticket and contribute to the organization. TSRTC MD VC Sajjan held a virtual meeting with field level officials on Thursday (December 14) evening regarding the issue of zero tickets to women.
“Mahalakshmi- free bus travel facility for women recently introduced by the government is getting good response from women. This scheme is being implemented peacefully without any complaints. The company has updated the software to implement the free bus travel facility scheme for women more efficiently. The software is being installed on Tim’s machines. The company will issue zero tickets through the machines from Friday. Women passengers should carry Aadhaar, voter and other identity cards with them. Show them to the conductors for locality verification.. Mandatory zero tickets should be taken. Women, girls, students and third genders should use this scheme which has been made available to reduce the financial burden. TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar suggested.
He said TSRTC has made all arrangements so that women passengers do not face any difficulties. Everyone is requested to cooperate with the organization for the effective implementation of the free travel facility. On this occasion, Sajjanar congratulated the officials of TSRTC who updated the software for zero ticket in a very short time. TSRTC COO Dr. Ravinder, Executive Director (Operations) Muni Shekhar, CTM Jeevan Prasad, CEIT Rajasekhar, IT ATM Rajasekhar and others participated in this meeting.

Electric buses on Secunderabad – Patan Cheru route
“#TSRTC inducts Electric Metro AC buses on Secunderabad-Patan narrow route. These buses will start from Friday (Date: 15.12.2023). Every 24 minutes AC Metro bus is available for passengers on this route. These buses with route number 219 will reach Patan Cheru via Paradise, Boyn Pally, Balanagar, Kukat Pally. Return to Secunderabad by the same route. All those traveling on this route should use this facility,” TSRTC said in a statement.
