The 21st Trust Board meeting of the Board of Trustees was held under the chairmanship of Temple Chairman Reddyvari Chakrapani Reddy in the administration building of Srisaila Devasthanam. The meeting lasted for about 3 hours. Later, temple chairman Reddyvari Chakrapani Reddy told the media that 30 proposals were submitted and 28 proposals were approved. Srisailam Parivar temple Shikhareshwar Swamy has raised the retaining wall of their temple and laid rock, approved 49 lakhs for the Arch Gate CC road and proposed 29 lakhs for laying CC roads in many places within Telupaga Kshetra. An estimate of 52 crores was approved for the construction of 200 rooms accommodation facility for the convenience of devotees. 38.50 lakhs has been approved to set up precast center dividers at Tolate and Nandi Circle to reduce traffic and parking problems in the area. A proposal to build a bridge from Rajula Satram to Siddaramappa pool to Kondalloya and from here to there and from there to there has been approved and plans have been prepared to build a flyover bridge from Mallikarjunasadan to toll gate from toll gate to Ramaiah turning. Also, 28.50 lakhs have been allocated for the widening of the Siddhiramappa Junction road and the repairs of Kalyanatta.
In addition to these, Chairman Chakrapani Reddy said that 82 works related to the upcoming Shivratri and Ugadi Mahotsavs have been approved for civil, electrical and festival development up to 10 crores 54 lakhs. As part of the Kshetra campaign, the trust board chairman said that approval should be given to publish a coffee table book with pictures on Sthalapuranam, history and Kshetra specialties.
