IPL Title Sponsor Rights: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited tenders to sell IPL title sponsor rights. The board will auction the sponsorship rights for the next five seasons i.e. from 2024 to 2028. Currently, Tata, the IPL title sponsor, has bought the rights for a two-year deal with BCCI for Rs 600 crore.
Companies have to purchase tender papers. According to the information issued by the board, companies wishing to buy sponsorship rights will have to purchase tender documents. For this document, companies have to pay Rs. 5 lakhs to be paid a non-refundable amount. The last date for purchasing the document is January 8, 2024. After purchasing the document, companies need to send payment details to ipltitlesponsor2023.itt@bcci.tv.
The Board also clarified that buying a tender document is not allowed to participate in bidding on the basis thereof. The board first assesses the eligibility of all companies. Only after that they will be allowed to participate in bidding.
Crores of rupees were spent on the name with title sponsorship. Currently, the IPL title sponsor is Tata. That is, IPL is not just IPL, but Tata is calling it IPL. Before the league meant the brand name. In 2008, DLF was called IPL. This is called title sponsorship. For this companies bid and get the deal.

Auction of players on December 19.
The IPL 2024 season auction will be held on December 19 from 2:30 PM in Dubai. BCCI shared the names of 333 players on Monday. 77 slots in 10 teams are vacant. That means 77 players out of 333 will be in the auction. There are 30 foreigners in it.
In the World Cup 2023, the base price of all 23 players, including Australia’s top player Travis Head, has been kept at Rs 2 crore. Out of the 333 players, 214 are Indians and 199 are foreign players. Also, two are from associate nations.
