Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed to start the process of depositing Rythu Bandhu funds in farmers’ accounts from today. On Monday, State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Dr. BR Ambedkar held a high-level review meeting at the Telangana Secretariat on the Agriculture Department. State Minister for Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation, Handlooms, Textiles Tummala Nageswara Rao, State Industries and IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, State Revenue, Home Construction and Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, State Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, Finance Department were present in this meeting. Special Chief Secretary Rama Krishna Rao, CMO Secretary Seshadri, Agriculture Department Secretary Raghunandan Rao and other officials participated.
In this review meeting which was held for about three hours, the performance of the agriculture department and related departments in the state and the implementation of farmer welfare programs were widely discussed. Speaking on this occasion, CM Revanth Reddy ordered the farmers to start the process of depositing Rythu Bandhu funds in the respective farmers’ accounts. He said that crop investment assistance should be provided so that no farmer gets inconvenienced. Rs. 2 lakh loan waiver should be developed. As per the promise given by their government, the higher officials were ordered to prepare an action plan to waive off loans to the extent of two lakhs to the farmers of the state.
Conducting public radio every Tuesday and Friday
The Chief Minister has ordered that the Praja Durbar, which is currently being held at Jyoti Rao Phule Praja Bhavan, should henceforth be called Prajavani. It has been announced that this public hearing will be held from 10 am to noon on two days every Tuesday and Friday. Jyoti Rao Phule advised to give a chance to those who reached Praja Bhavan before 10 am for this public address. The Chief Minister ordered that separate queues should be set up for the disabled and women and tap water and other facilities should be provided for the convenience of the people.
