Uttam, the minister of that department, conducted a review of the state water drainage department. Project wise review with officials. He said that the irrigation sector is very important in Telangana.. Projects are being done with people’s money. He suggested that the work should be very transparent. Minister Uttam directed the senior officials of the Water and Drainage Department to make arrangements for a visit to Medigadda Barrage. He said that this is a very serious issue.
The minister of that department held a review with the officials of the agriculture department. He said that the officials should work for the welfare of the farmers. They should work for the marketing of high yielding products with the help of good practices and technology. It is advised to educate the farmers about cultivation of commercial crops.
