Navy Day Celebrations in Visakha: On the occasion of Navy Day (Navy Day) at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam, the maneuvers of the Air Wing of the Indian Navy were impressive on Sunday. State Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer attended the program as the chief guest. Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar and other officers participated in it. These maneuvers were performed under the command of the Eastern Naval Command. As a part of this, Indian Navy has shown the talent and prowess of the Indian Navy. The National Flag and Navy Flag were hoisted from a height of about 8 thousand feet with the help of a parachute and surprised the people. The crew performed maneuvers with Navy warships, fighter jets, submarines and helicopters. People flocked to see these, and RK Beach became crowded. Police have imposed traffic restrictions on all routes leading to RK Beach on the occasion of Navy Day.
Navy Day is celebrated every year on 4th December as a symbol of the victory in the war between India and Pakistan. However, the Navy Day celebrations were postponed to the 10th due to Cyclone ‘Mig Jam’.
