AP Government Increase Aarogyasri Scheme Limit 25 Lakhs: AP Government has taken a key decision on Aarogya Sri Scheme. CM Jagan has decided to increase the limit of this scheme to Rs.25 lakh. Thus, the government hopes that the poor will get better treatment for any serious diseases like heart, kidney, neuro. Already the number of treatments provided under Arogya Shree has been increased from 1,059 to 3,257. The government leaders said that they are ready to bear the cost of treatment for things like cancer without limit. The state government will issue new guidelines on 18th of this month, which has created new cards with modern features so that people can easily access these services.
Cards for 1.42 crore people
On this occasion, on the 18th of this month, CM Jagan will address the staff of village and ward secretariats, community health officers, ANMs, Asha workers, YSR village clinics staff, household heads and volunteers through video conference. The direction is directed to create a wide publicity for better utilization of the services of Arogya Sri. After this, the distribution of newly designed Arogya Shri cards will start from 19th of this month to 1.42 crore people. Government leaders and YCP leaders say that CM Jagan’s assurance of free medical treatment up to Rs.25 lakh under the ‘Aarogya Sri’ scheme is historic. Earlier, there was a limit of Rs 5 lakh for cancer treatment under this scheme, after which the patients had to bear whatever the cost, he said. Now lifting the limit is expected to ensure the health of poor and middle class people.
Safety for all
According to official information, since YCP came to power in 2019, 37,40,525 people have received free medical services under the Arogya Shree scheme till November this year. It seems that the government has spent a total of Rs.11,859.96 crores for their treatment. Free treatment is provided under this scheme if the cost of treatment exceeds one thousand. On the other hand, YSR has spent Rs.1,309 crores for health care. It is reported that Rs.13,168.96 crores have been spent on Arogya Shri and Asara in four and a half years. CM Jagan has taken a decision to make available a total of 3,257 procedures including 54 cancer treatments under the ‘Aarogya Sri’ scheme. There is joy everywhere.
