After KCR, who ruled Telangana for ten years, fell ill, his fans as well as party ranks started to worry. BRS leaders and activists are praying for a speedy recovery despite the doctors saying that there is no danger. KCR injured his hip when his foot slipped in the bathroom. He was rushed from Erravelli Farmhouse to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda. The doctors who performed a CT scan found that he needed an operation and performed a hip replacement surgery. The operation was done in about 2 hours. KCR’s daughter MLC Kavitha, former minister KTR, former minister Harish Rao and KCR’s wife Shobha are all in the hospital. Several BRS leaders were also present near the hospital. Doctors said that it may take 6 to 8 weeks for KCR to recover. Jana Reddy visited KCR at Yashoda Hospital. He prayed to God for a speedy recovery. On the other hand, the CM’s office inquired about KCR’s health. In the context of KCR Yashoda’s stay in the hospital, security has been tightened there. On behalf of the government, IAS Rizvi was sent to Yashoda to inquire about his health condition. Rizvi spoke to KCR’s family members. Intelligence chief Shivdhar Reddy also increased police monitoring.
CM Revanth Reddy tweeted wishing KCR a speedy recovery. He said that he is inquiring about KCR’s health from time to time. Prime Minister Modi tweeted that he was saddened to know that KCR was injured. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya also inquired about KCR’s health. AP CM Jagan visited on phone. Many leaders including Chandrababu and Lokesh tweeted wishing KCR a speedy recovery. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan wished KCR to recover quickly and serve the society and people. Harish Rao appealed to fans not to come to Yashoda Hospital in view of KCR undergoing treatment.
