Jr. NTR Speech at Tillu Square Success Meet: Star boy Sidhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran starrer movie ‘Tillu Square’. It is a sequel to the 2022 film ‘Deejay Tillu’. This movie is directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Suryadevara Nagavanshi and Sai Saujanya. The movie released on March 29 and became a blockbuster hit at the box office. In just 10 days it grossed more than Rs.100 crore worldwide. In this background, the film team organized a success meet at Shilpkala venue in Hyderabad on Monday evening. Man of masses Jr. NTR was the chief guest for this event. Speaking on this occasion, he said that the role of Tillu has become a part of all our lives. With ‘DJ Tillu’, Sidhu has not only achieved success, but has been hailed for giving us a great character that will stay with us forever.
NTR said.. “I have seen Sidhu’s films but never interacted with him personally. It was after the pandemic that I met Siddha for the first time. Film is a mad technician and there are very few in the industry. Sidhu is in the very first row. He knows nothing but cinema. Looking at the character of DJ Tillu, you might think that he is like this in real life too. But Sidhu is not like that. For a long time, he only wants to see his film, the role he is playing, the story he is writing, whether I am doing justice to this story or not. We see this quest in very few artists and very few technicians. Sidhu not only got success with DJ Tillu movie, but also gave us a character that will remain forever in our lives,” he said.
“As a child, I used to watch cartoons like Tom and Jerry and He Man. I always wish that such characters remain in our life through movies. Today Tillu.. has become a man who walks around us in our house. Hotsoff Siddu Jonnalagadda. Hats off to DJ Tillu and Tillu Square team for creating a character that stays in our house and roams around us. Laughing is a blessing not laughing is a curse. Basically once I start laughing, it’s hard to stop. Vinayak Anna used to work very hard when I was doing ‘Adurs’. Because even if Brahmanandam didn’t speak a dialogue, I used to laugh when I saw him. During the shooting of ‘Aravinda Sametha’, Trivikram also made the same face many times. That’s how much I laughed with this movie.. I can’t laugh anymore. He made many people laugh, not just me. All those blessings should go to Siddu. More amazing images, more amazing characters to be created. Tarak said, “I wish God to provide all of us.”
There is a dialogue in the movie Devara. I won’t tell you about that dialogue, but most of the movie talks about fear. You have to have the courage to dream.. You have to have the fear to make that courage, that dream come true. Correct it if you can.. otherwise sorry.. and realize that I am there.. here you are, I am telling that.. Pole Adripole (laughing with Trivikram). It has been a long time since I saw Trivikram. Watching him on the stage reminds me of ‘Aravinda Sameta days’. A man must have the courage to dream, and extreme discipline to make that dream come true. Discipline here is fear. Today, Tillu’s entire film team was so scared and worked hard to deliver a film that the audience would like with devotion, so it was a great success.
“You have to work hard and keep working hard. There is no measure of difficulty. My difficulty is not different from your difficulty.. it is the same for everyone. Always believe in that difficulty.. it will take you to a higher level” said NTR addressing Siddhu. “I told Sidhu and Vishwak many times. I have faith in both of you. Both of you will be of great help to the industry to take forward new ideas. I told them many times that both of you will be very useful to the industry. Now seeing both of them like this.. I am very proud and very happy. The industry needs daredevils like these to push forward new ideas. Hats off to both of them,” he said.
And NTR said.. Hats off to Mallik Ram who directed Tillu Square movie. Making a sequel to a blockbuster film is not an easy task. Congratulations to the director who made this sequel brilliantly. Congratulations to all who worked on this film. I like Kasara Shyam’s songs. In ‘Balagam’ I really like the village song. The smell of soil comes from the words he writes. Also, Neha Shetty and Anupama Parameswaran acted brilliantly in the role of Radhika. Without both of them, this film would not have been such a huge success. As a producer of Vamsi, I wish to make many more such wonderful films. Talking too much about Vamsi will make him angry. Even if the release of ‘Devara’ movie is late, we will try to provide you all with pride. I am taking leave wishing everyone a very happy Ugadi.” He concluded.
