BRS Leader RS Praveen Kumar: Hyderabad: RS Praveen Kumar, who joined BRS after leaving BSP, targeted the Congress government in the state. The Telangana government, which has been repeatedly accusing the previous BRS government of having debts, demanded the release of a white paper on how many debts it incurred during its 4-month rule.
RS Praveen Kumar said that the Congress leaders have criticized the KCR government for incurring a debt of ₹6.71 lakh crore in the last ten years. But within four months of coming to power, it is reported that ₹16,400 crore has been borrowed. The ex-IPS RSP opined that loans made informally in the name of corporations are double this. He said that the Congress leaders will not show those debts in the state budgets. He said that in the past, BRS took loans and provided at least basic facilities in the state, but the present government is not able to do so. He criticized the Congress leaders for juggling only 6 guarantees. RS Praveen Kumar demanded that if you are sincere, release a white paper without hiding anything even on the debts incurred by you in these four months.
