Today… the BRS chief who met the leaders of Khammam and Mahabubabad gave direction to the party ranks on the Lok Sabha election activities. Leaders of two parliamentary constituencies along with key leaders attended this meeting. In this meeting, taking the opinions of all the leaders… Nama Nageswara Rao as the Khammam BRS MP candidate and Malothu Kavitha as the Mahabubabad MP candidate were announced. The party president thanked KCR for giving them an opportunity to contest in the Lok Sabha elections.
Nama Nageswara Rao said that in the meeting of Khammam and Mahabubabad constituencies, the party leaders unanimously proposed his name and the name of Malotu Kavitha. Nama Nageswara Rao said that they have the support of the people. He said that during KCR’s reign… drinking and cultivation water was made free of problems. Nama Nageswara Rao said that despite the negative results in the assembly elections, they have positive conditions in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that we have been in public service for many years. He said that he will face whoever contests from Khammam along with Rahul Gandhi. He said that public service is not about winning. He expressed confidence that he will win the Lok Sabha elections.
And… Mahbubabad MP candidate Malothu Kavitha also thanked CM KCR. He thanked KCR for giving him the opportunity to contest once again. Although the Congress is in power in Telangana… Malothu Kavitha said that he has a special connection in the seven constituencies of the Mahabubabad Parliament segment. He reminded that when KCR was the CM, he had also given titles to waste lands. They also fought about Bayyaram steel factory. He said that due to BRS’s struggle and the increasing pressure of their MPs on the Centre, a tribal university has come up in Mulugu. She said that the people felt that they had made a mistake by voting for the Congress. He said that people are suffering due to problems of electricity and water. Farmers are saying that due to stoppage of water from Kaleswaram… the fields are drying up. Also, the non-implementation of the 420 promises given by the Congress will be brought to the notice of the people. Malothu Kavitha explains to the public that only some promises are being implemented…the rest are being hidden. He accused the Congress government of not paying attention to many promises including cash of Rs 2,500 per month for women, loan waiver of Rs 2 lakh for farmers, increase in pension. The false promises given by the Congress will be dried up among the people. He said that BRS will be present immediately in the Lok Sabha elections. They slowly said that they will raise the pink flag in the Mahabubabad segment.
Malothu Kavitha said that Bhadrachalam MLA Tellam Venkatarao did not come to the meeting due to illness. He said that he did not get a chance in Congress. He became an MLA because he was in BRS. Tellam Venkatarao said that he is not going to change the party. Malothu Kavitha expressed confidence that the people of seven constituencies from Mulugu to Bhadrachalam will support him.
