Gaddam Vamsikrishna from Congress, Koppula Iswar from BRS and Gomasa Srinivas from BJP are in the fray. The Congress has bagged seven assembly seats in the Parliament here. The opposition parties could not make a strong showing in the last assembly elections. Although there were initial differences over the Congress ticket, they were later reconciled. Now seven MLAs in the Lok Sabha are working for the victory of the Congress.
All the parties are trying to get their votes because Singareni workers are in majority here. Vamsikrishna’s father and elder father are continuing as MLAs in this Lok Sabha constituency. In addition to assembly centers, mandal centers are holding meetings in major gram panchayats. Especially BRS and BJP are going to the people by criticizing them. Also, former minister Koppula Eshwar intensified his campaign as a BRS candidate. He was a Singareni worker in the past, so he was confident that the votes of the Singareni workers would come to him. The BRS government itself is suggesting to create new jobs and solve the problems of workers. They are reminding in the meetings that Singareni was not privatized because of their movement. BRS leaders say that six guarantees are stuck. Koppula is criticizing the Congress for not looking at the problems of the farmers.
BJP candidate Gomasa Srinivas fully believed in Modi. His social class is expected to play a vital role in his victory as the votes are high. They say that Congress and BRS, which are family parties, must learn a lesson. They are criticizing that it was a waste to vote for the BRS which lost power in the state. The candidates of these three parties are heating up the campaign by criticizing each other.
