A man named Potluri Sribala Vamsikrishna (37) from Poranki village near Vijayawada was addicted to bad addictions like online betting and races. With no money in hand, he sent marriage proposals to young women with fake names on Shaadi.com matrimony. Six young women accepted his requests. With this, he took their phone numbers and was often rude. He completely convinced them with his words and fooled them. Vamsikrishna introduced himself to each young woman by a different name. First he contacted a young lady (30) from Madinaguda, Hyderabad named Rishikumar. He said that he was working as an assistant director in Glenmark Pharma in America and would marry her soon. But he was convinced that the CIBIL score should be more than 845 for wife visa to take his partner to America with him. As her CIBIL score is currently 743, there are rumors that Glenmark company will give loans to increase it. The young woman completely believed his tricks. With this, he took personal loan, credit cards and car loan with her. Along with her, he convinced the young woman who is the sister of the line to take a huge amount of loan. A total of Rs 2.71 crores was collected from both of them. All this money was transferred to his account. He said he would pay back soon and then went missing. Realizing that they have been cheated, the victims lodged a complaint with the Cyberabad Cybercrime Police.
