Yashasvi Jaiswal ICC Player of the Month Award: Yashaswi Jaiswal has received a huge award from the ICC for his brilliant batting in the recently concluded five-match Test series against England. Yashaswi was selected as the ICC Player of the Month for the first time. ICC honored with this award in the month of February. Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and Sri Lankan player Pathum Nisanka are also in the running for the Yashaswi award. Yashasvi who left these two players won this award.
Very few batsmen can do the way Yashaswi started his international career. Today he is known as the best opener in Tests. The fact that he is the top scorer in the current cycle of the World Test Championship is understandable given his batting. So far he has scored 1028 runs in 16 innings in 9 Tests at an average of 68. He scored three centuries and four half-centuries.

Yashaswi scored two consecutive double centuries in the 5 Test series against England. Yashaswi scored 712 runs in the entire series. Scored two double centuries with his bat. He hit 68 fours and 26 sixes in this series. Jaiswal looked in great form against England. He scored 219 runs in the first innings of the second Test at Vizag and then scored a double century in the second innings of the next Test at Rajkot to give India the lead in the series.

With the help of these two double centuries, India bounced back in the Test series against England after losing the first Test in Hyderabad and won 4 consecutive matches to clinch the series 4-1. In the Rajkot Test, he also tied the record for most sixes in an innings with 12 sixes.
Badi scored consecutive double centuries at the age of 22 years and 49 days, becoming the third youngest player in the world to score 2 double centuries in Tests after Sir Donald Bradman and Vinod Kambli. In the three Tests played in February, Yashaswi scored 560 runs at an average of 112 including 20 sixes.
