Amaravati, March 12: Intermediate first and second year exams are being conducted in Telugu states. These exams will continue till March 15. In this order, students are caught committing malpractices in many places. Officials found that 22 students engaged in malpractice in the Intermediate Second Year Maths 2B and History exams conducted on March 11 (Monday). The Board of Intermediate Education revealed that malpractice cases have been registered against all of them. On the other hand, 97 percent students appeared for the intermediate examinations conducted on March 11 across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The board revealed that 3,78,382 students appeared out of a total of 3,89,743.
Meanwhile, for the academic year 2023-24, a total of 10,52,221 students are appearing for the exams in the first and second years of Inter. Among them, 4,73,058 students from the first year and 5,79,163 students from the second year are writing the exams. Inter examinations are being conducted in 1,559 examination centers in 26 districts across the state. The examinations are being conducted under the surveillance of CC cameras so that no untoward incident takes place. ‘QR’ code has been printed at three levels to prevent leakages of question papers. With this, strong arrangements were made so that wherever the photo was taken, the paper would be known immediately.
Even in Telangana, even though strict arrangements have been made, the students continue to engage in malpractice in many places. As part of the Intermediate Public Examinations 2024, the Inter Board revealed that 17 cases of malpractice were reported across the state of Telangana in the first year Physics 1 and Economics 1 examinations held on the 9th day i.e. March 11. Out of these, 12 cases were reported in Mulugu, 2 in Sangareddy, 1 in Peddapally, 1 in Janagama and 1 in Nizamabad, the board said. 5,29,893 candidates registered for the exams held on March 11 out of which 24,230 were absent. 5,05,663 people attended.
