The war between Russia and Ukraine is killing not only the citizens and soldiers of those countries, but innocent youth. In the name of job, some agents drag innocent youths into war and cause their lives. Tens of young people have already lost their lives. The recent death of a young man from Hyderabad is shocking. The Indian Embassy in Moscow confirmed the death of Mohammed Asfan of Hyderabad in a post on Wednesday. But the reasons for that have not been revealed. He did not give clarity about what he was doing in the country.
‘We have learned that an Indian named Mohammed Asfan has died. We are in contact with family members and Russian authorities. Efforts will be made to send his body to India,’ the embassy said in the post.
He was one of the nearly two dozen Indians who were taken to Russia for high-paying jobs. However, Afsan’s family members said that MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi informed them of the news of Afsan’s death. Owaisi was one of those who highlighted this point last month. The MIM leader said that he had written a letter to the External Affairs Minister on February 21 saying that men from states like Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh were being tricked into participating in the war.
The Ministry of External Affairs said on February 29 that at least 20 Indians stranded in Russia have approached Indian authorities and the government is doing its best to bring them home. It seems that many of those trapped in Russia were cheated by an agent named Faisal Khan from Dubai.
