Recently, the Telangana Drug Control Administrative has announced sensational matters. Investigation revealed that a gang was making fake tablets using chalk powder and porridge. They are making illegal money by supplying the medicines made by Zero Medicine to the medical shops. Telangana Drug Control Administration has seized fake medicines sold under the name of Meg Lifesciences. It concluded that the company does not actually exist under that name.
DCA’s investigation has brought to light several issues. It has been found that fake medicine made from chalk powder and porridge is being brought into the market on a large scale. As part of this, the DCA amount is Rs. Fake medicines worth 33.5 lakhs seized. These fake medicines are being packed and sold without any suspicion. The drug controller has alerted the people in this regard. It advised the people and medical shop managers not to use these medicines under any circumstances.
Officials have issued orders not to distribute medicine with these tablets as they are harmful to health. Investigation revealed that these antibiotics are being used for viral fevers and other serious diseases. Cases have been registered against many people who are involved in the manufacture of fake medicines and are being investigated.
