Hyderabad, March 02: A total of 1509 applications were received in the Prajavani program organized by Mahatma Jyothibha Phule Praja Bhavan on Friday. There are 275 applications related to revenue related issues, 107 applications for ration cards and 396 applications for Indiramma houses. State Planning Commission Vice President Dr. Chinna Reddy, Prajavani Special Officer, CDMA Divya and other officers received the applications from the public. Apart from individual applications, applications are also received from various job associations. In particular, the leaders of the DSC 2008 BED Merit Candidates Association met State Planning Commission Vice President Chinna Reddy and explained their problem on Friday. Telangana State High Court implemented the interim judgment and requested justice for those who were selected in common merit as per DSC 2008 notification. After listening to their problem, the Vice President of the State Planning Commission Chinnareddy promised to discuss with the concerned officials and solve the problem.
Representatives of the Association of Contract Teachers Teaching Disabled Students in Government Schools (IERP) also raised their concerns with State Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Chinnareddy. For the past 20 years, they have been teaching disabled students in government schools and asked for regularization of their posts and justice. Chinnareddy said that as a large number of requests are coming, they are taking prompt steps to resolve them. The functioning of the 16 counters set up in Praja Bhavan to receive applications from the people and the aspect of sending the received applications to the concerned departments was examined. He informed that the government will give utmost priority to address the complaints received from the common people through Prajavani programme.
